Terms and conditions for rental

In the following you will find useful information in connection with the use of online booking. You can read about how we process your entered information, how you receive your receipt in connection with a purchase and much more.

Check of rental certificate

On receipt of the rental certificate, it is the tenant’s responsibility to ensure that the period and the selected unit are correct.

Payment

All prices stated in the online booking system, like everywhere else on the website, are stated in Danish kroner including VAT and all taxes, unless otherwise stated and clearly stated in the situation in question. Payment takes place by using one of the approved payment/credit cards as well as Mobilepay in the online booking system. A fee is charged according to applicable rules from Nets.

Information about trading on the Internet

You can safely shop on the internet through our online booking system. As a consumer, you are basically protected against any misuse of your credit card on the internet, therefore there is no deductible for misuse of your payment card via the internet. You can read more about how you as a consumer should deal with online payments on the following website www.fdih.dk.

Shipping and delivery

When booking and paying for a cabin, a place for your own tent, or a place for your own caravan, you will receive a confirmation in which the price for your purchase appears. The contract is sent via e-mail immediately after the purchase, if the correct e-mail address is provided by the buyer.

Delivery of the ordered product takes place upon arrival at Thyborøn Camping on the day of arrival and is completed upon departure on the day of departure. Both of these times are stated in the above contract. Unused days are not refunded once you have started your holiday and your place cannot be sold on to others during your stay. We strive to deliver what the guest wants, but reserve the right to change any booking made from a specific place/cabin to a place/cabin of a similar standard, otherwise the booking can be considered invalid.

Renting cabins – house rules

• All cabins are non-smoking. If the smoking ban is violated, an additional cleaning fee will be charged.
•  Do not play loud music outdoors or with the window open

   

•  There must be peace in the cottage town after 23.00
• Dogs must be kept on a leash – dog bags are thrown in the bin at the environmental station

   

•  The cabin may only house the number of people the house is intended for
• Power consumption is settled according to consumption on departure
• Duvets and pillows must not be used without bed linen, you must either bring your own or rent them at the reception. DKK 90 per person incl. towel.
• The tenant is responsible for damage that occurs to the cabin, the furniture or services during the stay and you will be charged an amount equal to the cost of repairing the damage.

On departure – cabin stay

Due to cleaning and in order to prepare for the arrival of new guests, please leave the cabin and clear it, no later than 11.00 on the day of departure.

• Put service and furniture in place, also if in any have moved furniture from one holiday home to another
• Empty the fridge
• Close all windows
• Check if you have forgotten anything in drawers and cupboards
• Place waste in the environmental station opposite reception
• Possibly. rented bed linen/towels are collected in a pile on the floor

Thyborøn Camping assumes no responsibility for storing and forwarding forgotten items.

Guest’s responsibility

The renter of the cabin is fully liable for the furniture in the rental unit. Deficiencies and damages caused by the tenant are settled upon departure. The person who entered into the lease is also liable for damages caused by other residents and guests in the lease. Cabins may be occupied by a maximum of the number of people indicated. People over 18 must be present during the entire stay.

Final cleaning cabins

Staying for just 1-2 nights in the cabin and have not pre-ordered cleaning – this can be ordered at the reception. The price for a final cleaning is only DKK 350.

Note final cleaning is mandatory if you bring a dog and if you stay more than 2 nights in the cabin.

Dogs

Dogs must be kept on a lead and litter must be collected.

Camping DKK 10 per Day.

Cabins – you are welcome to bring a dog, but a mandatory cleaning of DKK 350 follows.

WiFi

You can buy access to the campsite’s wifi at reception

DKK 100 per week

After payment, you will receive a code that is valid for up to 4 units.

• “Vandwærket”
  Swimming pool with water slide, hot water pool, wellness area with sauna and steam bath

• Ball hall for all kinds of ball games, badminton and table tennis

Only open during the Easter holidays, weeks 27-31 and week 42.

Right of cancellation and refund camping, cabins and rooms

You have the option to cancel your booking under the following conditions:

Cancellation of all bookings up to 90 days before arrival is free, however it costs DKK 200 if we have to transfer the money back to the customer.

Cancellation from 90 to 60 days before arrival = 25% of the rent.

Cancellation from 60 to 30 days before arrival = 50% of the rent.

Cancellation from 30 to 15 days before arrival = 75% of the rent.

Cancellation from 15 to 0 days before arrival = 100% of the rent.

Force majeure

Thyborøn Camping, Hotel & Hytteby is not responsible to the customer for breach of the agreement if this is due to circumstances beyond the campsite’s control, including strikes, lockouts, orders/restrictions due to an epidemic/pandami or (other) conditions as per Danish right can be attributed to force majeure.

Partial use of facilities

The customer is obliged to pay the agreed price, even if certain facilities at the campsite, for example the waterworks, playground, indoor ball fields, etc. cannot be used as a result of orders from the authorities. In that situation, the customer is thus not entitled to either cancel the order or receive a reduction in the price.

Registration of information

When booking, Thyborøn Camping, Hotel & Hytteby registers your name, your address, your e-mail and other information provided in connection with the purchase in our customer register.

The information is not passed on, but Thyborøn Camping, Hotel & Hytteby keeps the registration for 5 years. When paying by credit card, registration takes place via a secure server.

Complaint processing

If you do not receive your booking confirmation, which confirms your purchase within 24 hours, and you have not received an error message from the system, you can write to the address below or call the phone number.

Complaints regarding the booking process or the product received must be made within a reasonable time after you have seen the error or should have seen the error by looking through your contract.
